Step-by-step instructions
- 1Visit the official Online Police Clearance Report (OPCR) portal at https://opcr.nepalpolice.gov.np
- 2Create an online account by clicking Register and providing your personal details including name, mobile number, email address, and citizenship number
- 3Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent to your phone and create a secure password
- 4Log in to your account using your registered mobile number/email and password
- 5Fill in your personal information: full name, father's name, grandfather's name, date of birth, citizenship details, and permanent address
- 6Enter your passport information: passport number, issue date, expiry date, and place of issue
- 7Select the purpose of your police clearance: study, migration, work, travel, or other
- 8Upload required documents: citizenship certificate, passport, recent passport-sized photo, and any additional documents required for your specific purpose
- 9Review all information carefully before submission to ensure accuracy
- 10Submit your application and wait for verification by the police department
- 11Track your application status through the portal using your application reference number
- 12Download your police clearance certificate once approved, or collect it from the designated police office if required
