Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1Choose a licensed Depository Participant (bank, broker, merchant banker, or capital company) and confirm whether online KYC is available.
  2. 2Submit DEMAT account KYC with citizenship, photo, signature, bank details, mobile number, email, and guardian documents if the applicant is a minor.
  3. 3Receive your BOID/DEMAT number after the DP verifies and opens the account.
  4. 4Request Meroshare activation from the same DP, pay the Meroshare fee if required, and collect the login credentials sent by email or SMS.
  5. 5Log in to Meroshare, change the first password, update profile details, and keep the DP/client ID safe.
  6. 6Ask your bank for CRN/My ASBA activation, then verify the linked bank account inside Meroshare for IPO applications.
  7. 7Choose a licensed broker, submit broker KYC, and request TMS login credentials for secondary market buy/sell orders.
  8. 8After TMS approval, change the password, set security details, load collateral if required, and test a small watchlist before placing orders.
